I love food and I love running! I’m always looking for healthy recipes but I love to indulge from time to time. I like to try to make versions that are lower in fat and calories than the standard versions. I’m especially fond of Mexican food and have some sort of taco addiction. I don’t have any dietary restrictions but I do try to stay away from processed foods, especially high fructose corn syrup.

As far as the running part goes, I started running in 2007 and got really serious about in 2010. I’ve run a few half marathons and I plan on doing a full marathon (or two or three) in 2012.

So follow me on my food and running quest. I’ll share the foods I make, the products I use, and the tools I use. I’ll also discuss my training progress as I encourage my body to survive running 26.2 miles and how I plan to reward myself afterward!
